Community Recycling Program

 Welcome to recycling in Flin Flon, Creighton, and surrounding area.

Recycling is a program  of the Flin Flon & District Environment Council, Inc., a local non profit organization.   

The Recycling Centre is located at 9 Timber Lane, Flin Flon.
Hours
​ 8:00 - 4:00 Monday - Friday, Noon - 3:00 Saturday & Sunday
Recyclables can be left on the dock or in blue bins at Centre any time.
Lake Residents Recycling Support 

We are collecting Recycling Support fees from people living outside Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach again this year. Fees are $11.40/person for the year. They can be mailed to Box 392, FF, R8A 1N1 or dropped off at the Centre between 9 and 3.

Remove all lids from glass jars and bottles
​They should not be in bags or boxes when placed in the glass bins at the Recycling Centre. Bags or boxes on the dock are fine .
​We cannot recycle glass  dishes, mirrors, ornaments, window glass, etc. Glass jars and bottles only.
Important Tips
  • Shredded paper must be in a separate closed bag (any size), or it ends up in the garbage. It should be only office paper.
  • Household batteries should be in a sealed bag or separate container. 
  • No other sorting/separate bagging required
