What goes where

The landfill has specific areas for different kinds of materials. Loads should be sorted into different materials before they come to the landfill to make it easier.

The gate attendant will ask what materials are being brought to the landfill and give directions to the correct area.

Bears at the Landfill

Bears are usually present at the landfill during the summer months. While there have not been any public safety issues, it is important to keep your distance. Do NOT attempt to feed or interact with the bears. If a bear becomes aggressive or any other issues arise, please contact the landfill attendant immediately.
