About Us
The Flin Flon Recycling program is operated by the Flin Flon & District Environment Council, Inc., a non-profit organization incorporated in 1995.
It is a membership organization with a Board of Directors that oversees the business of the organization.
Memberships are available for $5/individual and $8/family.
The Board of Directors is elected at the Annual General meeting in April each year. Current Board members are La Verne Hinzman, Chairperson, Barbara Lyons, Vice - Chairperson, Janet Modler, Secretary, Bob Lyons, Treasurer, Angela Simpson, Greg East, Annette Banach, Darren Grant (Rep - Town of Creighton), Karen MacKinnon (Rep - City of Flin Flon).
Deb Odegaard is the Administrator of the organization. There are four full time and one part time staff at the Recycling Centre. Four staff cover two positions at the Flin Flon Landfill.
