Welcome to the website for community recycling in the Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach and surrounding area.
Recycling is a program of the Flin Flon & District Environment Council, Inc., a local non-profit organization. The Recycling Centre, located at 9 Timber Lane, is open from 8 AM - 4 PM. Monday to Friday. Recyclables can be dropped off at the Centre any time. Curbside Recycling pickup is available in Flin Flon Wednesday mornings with a red bag which can be purchased at several locations. Creighton and Denare Beach provide curbside pickup. Recycling Pickup for businesses is available for a fee. Electronics, batteries, paint and fluorescent bulbs are also processed at the Centre. Tires, used oil, household hazardous waste and metal are recycled from the Flin Flon Landfill operated by the City of Flin Flon. Hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 9 AM- 12 noon, 1:00 - 6:00 PM Closed Sunday and Monday. Call 1-833-210-6435 for landfill information. While recycling will not end the larger environmental problems in our world, it certainly makes a difference. The more people recycle, the larger the impact.
